Pioneering The Boxing Lifestyle

The legacy continues

This is a draft fight card for BOXRAW, built by Danilo Vicioso. Every section is a round or a bout, in the order a boxing night runs: ring walk, weigh-in, main event, corner work, final bell.

Round II · Weigh-in

New Arrivals

Danilo's note: in boxing the weigh-in comes first and nobody argues with the scale. Here the scale is the strip below, eight pieces from the Ring x BOXRAW run, one scroll away from the main event.

Round III · Main event

Chávez x BOXRAW now live

Chávez x BOXRAW

We Don't Play Boxing is the line the brand prints on a hoodie, and it is also the rule for this card: nothing in the main event is filler. One collaboration gets the whole width of the screen, like the home page gives it.

  • Chávez x Sparring Club Oversized T-Shirt · WASHED BLACK / 1 COLOUR · R$ 330,00 BRL
  • Chávez x BOXRAW Track Jacket · WHITE / 1 COLOUR · R$ 508,00 BRL
  • Chávez x BOXRAW Oversized T-Shirt · BLACK / 4 COLORS

Also on the card: 36 By Teddy Atlas.

Round IV · Corner one

Nakatani x BOXRAW

Danilo's note: the red track jacket is the loudest piece on the home page, so the card gives it a full-height corner of its own.

  • Nakatani x BOXRAW Track Jacket · RED / 2 COLORS · R$ 559,00 BRL
  • Nakatani x BOXRAW Track Bottoms
  • Nakatani x Sparring Club Oversized Hoodie · WASHED BLACK / 2 COLORS · R$ 533,00 BRL

Corner two

Bivol, mid-punch

Dmitry Bivol shows up on the home page in motion, not posed. The landing keeps that choice: no studio, no plate, only the bag and the swing, with the kit doing its job in the frame.

Two corners, two fighters, no copy fighting the pictures for attention.

Round V · The wrap

How to Wrap Your Hands for Boxing

Danilo's note: the how-to is already the best sales copy on the site, so the page lets it run in full instead of rewriting it.

Before a punch can be thrown in training, your hands must be wrapped properly.

  1. Unfasten the thumb loop from your BOXRAW hand wraps and place it around your thumb.
  2. Pull the hand wrap across the back of your hand away from your thumb and wrap around your wrist. You begin by going across the back of your hand so that when you make a fist the wrap tightens to make it more secure.
  3. Wrap around your wrist four times.
  4. Bring your wraps back down under your hand back to your wrist then loop it around your thumb once to keep it secure.
  5. Bring the wrap back around your knuckles then down from your thumb to your wrist and finish by wrapping the remaining wraps around your wrist.
  6. Fasten the velcro on your wrap to complete the process and start punching.

Always make sure your hand wraps are nicely secure but not so tight that you feel pain when making a fist.

Racer Crop Top & Tank Bralette are back, in Brown, Black & White.

Gold standard Sauna Suits, Boxing Boots, Hand Wraps & more.

Also on the home page: Sauna Suit 2.0.

Danilo's note: sparring is the round nobody pays to watch, and the one the club name borrows. The page puts it in the middle of the card, between the headliners and the gear.

Round VII · The glove

Boxing gloves, headgear & shoes

After years of development, our line of boxing gloves and boxing headgear are just around the corner. Since the boxing glove was invented in 1773, they’ve been made the same way for hundreds of years, with little-to-no innovation. 6 years ago, we set out to change that. Today, we can finally say we’ve done it.

We’ve created a glove that actually feels like a glove and an extension of your hand. A tool that protects you, enabling harder punches from smarter angles. A weapon that can pierce through the air faster than anything ever before.

Couple this with our range of head gear and protection to complete our range of boxing equipment, plus our Impello Boxing shoe. We're not just elevating the game, we're changing the game. Forever the face of boxing.

  • 1773Since the boxing glove was invented in 1773
  • 6 years6 years ago, we set out to change that.

Danilo's note: this is the only copy on the site that reads like a launch, so it gets a dark room and a long read.

Round VIII · Pick your corner

Training or off duty

Danilo's note: the home page sorts the range by what you wear it for. The landing keeps that sort and adds a line of voice to each pick.

  • A black hoodie reading We Don't Play Boxing on a hanger

    Hoodies & Sweatshirts

The back print does the talking, so the hoodie never needs a caption.

  • A washed brown Sparring Club T-shirt on a wooden hanger

    T-Shirts & Tops

A washed tee for the gym bag, cut to be seen from behind.

  • Navy blue shorts with a small BOXRAW mark on a wooden hanger

    Shorts & Bottoms

Plain navy, one small mark, and enough room to move.

  • A fighter leaning into a heavy bag in a black Sparring Club top

    Training Edit

Built for the bag room, where the sweat is the only thing that shows.

  • Four friends in track tops talking beside a chain-link court

    Off-Duty Edit

The same kit on a street court, which is where most of it ends up.

Round IX · Bag room

Enhance your strength, speed, and technique with our premium-quality punch bags, crafted for durability and performance. Discover the perfect punch bag to take your boxing skills to the next level.

Also in the equipment aisle: Ring Canvases & Dressings.

Danilo's note: the equipment shelf is where BOXRAW stops being a clothing label, so the bags get their own round and a full-width wall.

Round X · Sparring partners

Who shares the ring

  • A woman in a ribbed tank top between leather punch bags

Danilo's note: the women's range is shot inside a real bag room, with leather and chains in the frame.

  • A boxer working the pads in a dim, warm-lit gym

Low light, warm tones, a fighter mid-round. The page borrows this mood for every dark section.

  • A boxer in a black top punching in a bright, white-walled gym

The bright gym is the counterpoint: same kit, daylight, no mystery.

  • Two boxers exchanging punches in a ring with red ropes

Two boxers in the ring and a quarter zip in the frame. Sparring is the product demo.

One Hope, One Quest - The Story Of Freddy Kiwitt A black We Don't Play Boxing hoodie hanging against a pale wall

Round XII · The blueprint

Where the brand starts

BOXRAW Founder and CEO Ben Amanna reveals the origins of the brand and how he first started the company with his vision.

“Everything around you that you call life was made up by people that were no smarter than you and you can change it, you can influence it, you can build your own things that other people can use.”

Steve Jobs

It’s a familiar story. The discipline of boxing used as a vehicle for empowerment and improvement.

For you Freddy, if you are reading this, stories like yours inspired the creation of BOXRAW.

Adversity does not build character, it reveals it!

One Hope, One Quest

Freddy loved sports as a boy, and played soccer until he was sidelined due to injury. He picked up boxing around age 18 and had success straight away including a gold medal in international competition. After a short 10 fight career as an amateur Freddy made the decision to enter the pro ranks.

Freddy’s record currently stands at 12W-2L with 7 KOs and has a British Southern Area Welterweight title to his resume.

Over the Christmas season Freddy finally visited extended family in Liberia, he had not been there for 25 years since his parents fled with him in terror to Germany.

Danilo's note: the founder story is the part of the site that is easiest to miss, so the blueprint round gets a photo of the story that started it.

Round XIII · The record book

A Timeline through Black Boxing History

Throughout boxing history, many black fighters have proudly stood as symbols of aspiration, success, power and resolve.

  1. December, 1810

Born into slavery at a tobacco plantation farm, Tom Molineaux emerged with his freedom through boxing. His bare-knuckle fight with English champion Thomas Cribb is regarded as one of the most important in history.

  2. June 27th, 1890

Canadian George Dixon became the first black fighter ever to capture a world title by beating Nunc Wallace in London; bypassing American segregation laws.

  3. May 12th, 1902

Joe Gans became the first ever native-born black American world title holder after stopping Frank Erne in one round.

  4. December 26th, 1908

Jack Johnson made history by becoming boxing’s first ever African-American world heavyweight champion, stopping Tommy Burns in Australia.

  5. June 22, 1937

Joe Louis became the first black world heavyweight champion since Jack Johnson, knocking James J. Braddock out cold in eight rounds.

  6. September 27th, 1950

For the first time in boxing history, the lineal world heavyweight championship passed from one black fighter to another.

  7. March 8th, 1971

No sporting event has ever had the kind of popular culture significance and iconic impact that the first fight between Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier had.

  8. October 30th, 1974

Muhammad Ali stunned George Foreman with an 8th-round KO triumph in ‘The Rumble in the Jungle’.

Danilo's note: the blog is where BOXRAW teaches the sport, so the landing quotes it instead of inventing a history of its own.

Round XIV · The kit wall
